Function: The Compliance Executive Committee (CEC) consists of Texas State's executive leadership who help the University navigate its regulatory compliance obligations. The committee meets semi-annually to review compliance initiatives and the institutional compliance risk registry. The CEC is responsible for supporting the Institutional Compliance and Ethics Program and providing strategic insight and direction regarding specific compliance topics or challenges, to mitigate risk based on our compliance requirements.

Function:
The Compliance Partners Committee (CPC) consist of employees who have been designated by their Vice President to serve as the compliance Partner for their designated compliance area. The Committee meets quarterly, and Partners collaborate in their daily activities to mitigate significant risks and reduce the consequences of noncompliance with federal and state laws across the University. The CPC is charged with promoting a culture of ethical conduct and compliance with legal obligations and coordinating compliance initiatives and assessments. -

Function:

Function:
The Clery Act Compliance Committee includes an interdisciplinary team of stakeholders from offices and departments across the University charged with overseeing the University’s compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (the Clery Act) [20 USC § 1092(f)]. The University established this Committee to maximize university-wide collaboration with its responsibilities in complying with the Clery Act. The Committee will meet three to four times a year and have tasks throughout the year that will contribute to Clery Act compliance.Members of the Committee may be queried to participate in smaller group meetings (working groups that are task specific), where not all Committee members are required. Such meetings will focus on Clery obligations specific to those areas.
